A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am looking for non-medicinal migraine solutions. Does the Daith Piercjng work? Also wondering if anyone has had success with acupuncture.

I suffered from chronic migraines kept me down alot, ive heard about the daith piercing and was so sceptical but it's been 2years and i havent had a single one. I have mild headaches now and then but those are ok in comparison to what i was going through. Would highly recommend it

I found a gal that trained with an acupuncturist & does the daith piercing. She was able to find exactly the right spot for me. Got mine while mid-migraine - stopped almost immediately.

Daith piercing is the best thing I ever did. My migraines drastically subsided from cripling headaches almost daily to an occasional slight migraine that caffeine usually cures . I was able to stop all migraine medications. In my opinion it doesn't hurt to try it and see if it works for you. If it doesnt help simply take it out and it will heal right up.

That's what finally stopped mine six years ago. My daughter recommended it and it's been amazing. My migraines used to cause nausea and temporary blindness.

I got both faiths done. I found if I pull gently, or massage them right when I see the little flashing lights that preceed my migraines, it stops it in its tracks.
