Has Anyone Been Successful In Getting Disability For Migraines?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

My initial application was denied. How disfunctional do you need to be? Seriously, I gave up on holding a job down almost 3 years ago. I have a migraine almost every day.

I'm glad you got a lawyer. Your health is nothing to gamble with. My initial application got denied as well, and I just hired a lawyer to submit my 1st appeal.

I was denied for reconsideration also. Their determination: I could go back to work as a paralegal. Seriously?? Sure, I will use my disfunctional brain 40 hours a week. I have a lawyer now. Praying for success.

Hi,
I’m working on my appeal now, got turned down my first time. I’m hoping that since my neurologist is keeping me on the meds that and that I tried to go back to work and had to leave that they’ll see that I need it.
