I went and got the daith piercing on my right ear because that is my dominant migraine side...I also started botox injections that same week. that was 2 yrs ago and both of those treatments along with amitriptyline, tiazandine, fioricet, oxycodone, and advil( sounds like alot, but is alot less than I used to have to take) have lessened my migraine days from 20+ a month to around 9 days a month...which is an absolute miracle for me... hope this info may help
I had both done and it has worked wonders
I'm booked to get both sides done in a few days. I have Meniere's with probably a component of Migraine Associated Vertigo (MAV). I live in Calgary - the barometric changes and Chinook winds seem to be a huge trigger. A friend with MAV has done really well over a year with her Daith piercing. We would often be in vertigo hell on the same days, so I will give this a try.
I really hate spell check that was supposed to be earring not eating!! LOL
