I've been taking Aimovig since June. Started at the 70 dose and needed bumped up to the 140 dose. It has cut my chronic daily migraines approximately 1/2 to 2/3. It hasn't been a miracle drug but one that I'll keep taking for the relief it has given me.
Just started my 2nd one a few days ago, so far possibly some acne though I had started a new shampoo at the same time so it may have been that. I switched shampoos now, so hopefully no acne this 2nd time around! Haven't noticed anything else with it! When you give yourself the injection, I'd recommend doing it on the outer side of the thigh near the back on the fatty part, doesn't hurt at all and hardly even notice after the injection :)
I am on my 7th Month. Overall I haven’t seen anything to show a significant gain of decline in monthly migraines.
It started helping the second month I took it but stopped working cuz I stopped taking my depo lupron shot but this month we are upping it to two shots so we will see if it works
