If You Have Stabbing Intolerable Pain In The Left Temple That Is Even With The Corner Of Your Eye And You Try All Of The Pressure Points
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I tried the between thumb, the feet pressure points, the squeezing your nose, the squeezing the bridge of your nose and all of that. For 2 days I had tears out of one eye. Left side. Light sensitivity, noise sensitivity, all of that jazz. BC powders, Goody Headache powders, Topamax, Maxalt, did not help. Any ideas?

When it gets that bad for me I get extremely hot water in the bath tub soak my feet, up to the ankles, and put an ice pack or frozen item from freezer on my neck. Advil for migraine can help lessen effects as well without making your stomach upset

Try finding the pressure points in the back of your skull. They are normally around the bony area at the base of the skull. You should have a pressure point on each side, feel around with your fingers, pressing done in areas. You know you have hit the spots because the pressure from your fingers will alleviate the pain immediately. Once you find them, rub that area for about 2-5 mins. The area will become tender and should be sore for 24hrs. If your headache is only one sided, just use the pressure points on that side. A massage therapist showed me this little trick and I have taught many people to use this technique. It does help more if someone else can do the pressure points, however, you can certainly do it on yourself. Hope this helps
