Does Anyone Have Experience Taking Low-dose Neurontin For Migraine Prevention?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I took low-dose Neurontin (100 mg) at night for about 20 years for nerve pain not related to migraine. I had infrequent migraines before and during those years with neurontin

I read an article about Neurontin recently as a preventative for… read more

Eye Stroke Caused By Migraine, Permanent
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Has anyone had this happen to them
I woke up with migraine. Got up and took migraine meds. 10 minutes later while laying down with eyes shut I saw 3 bright full blue moons that grew in rapid sec section, one after another
I looked at alarm clock and I could only read the top half of numbers. Got up, turned light on and bottom of vision in one eye was gone! Looked like jagged sheets of ice.

Memory Loss
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Howdy again, Migraine Warriors. I'm dealing with a symptom that seems to have dual causes & I'm curious who else struggles with it & how they deal with it, especially ways to reverse the effects. Memory loss. Like, severe dementia-style memory loss. Scary, will-i-wake-up-tomorrow-&-not-know-who-i-am scary. My causes seem to be migraine compounded by years of gabapentin (neurontin) use. I've gotten several responses from my PCP about it from 'your only option is to quit the gabapentin & hope for… read more
