Does Anyone Experience Changes In Sensation?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

When I get my migraines I have changes to smell. I was tested for covid several times and never had it. It's like my sensation of smell dulls while I'm in my migraine and when it ends I am back to normal. Does anyone experience this?

My sense of smell doesn't get dull but I will smell cigarette smoke or some other smoke like scent, and my son and I don't smoke and noone comes to my apt. That does either. It's very weird.

I wondered about that. That is the first time I've heard of an olfactory migraine, I'll have to Google it! Have a good day.

I smell smoke sometimes before a migraine. I was told it is an aura. Olfactory Aura. My sense of smell is much stronger that before I had migraines.
