My botox lessened the frequency and the pain. It has now been 2 months and they are creeping in more frequently. But the pain is not as bad yet. Knock on wood. I have 2 more days of bad thunderstorms coming through!

Hiiii... I am so excited for you! Botox is wonderful! I've been getting Botox injections for about 4 years & it has saved me! To answer your question... it takes about 2 weeks to fully take effect. I hope you have relief!!

I had my botox 8 days ago for the first time. I havent felt the tightness people talk about. But i feel preassure. I had it all over my forehead, on top of head, back of neck and down back. Unfortunately, when i slept i didnt listen to her and pushed the botox into my right eyelid. Oh well. But my PT has noticed a huge difference in my range of motion in mt neck. Sami I think everyone’s different. I think Doctors give Botox in different areas around the head. I go to a Neurologist and she knows what she’s doing. I have been to another Dr. and he had a Nurse Do it and it was horrible.

Does the botox prevent migraines or just lessen the pain?
