How do people cope with doing activities outside the house (such as driving to an event or being out of the house most of the day) when they're not sure if a migraine will be triggered and have no one to help them get home when a migraine could attack?
I never make plans anymore bec I used to then always had to cancel so I just stopped. Sad but true. Hope u find relief soon:)

On and off all day today and my cocktail of meds and oxygen treatments are just not working today and pollen is off the charts. I grin and bare it. So used to them, I do not let them control me. I carry on.

I never took O2. It's never been prescribed but aerobic exercise on a regular basis helps. My O2 monitor says I'm at 100%.
I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. Indeed. The migraine is bad enuf but the post migraine fatigue can last days for me. Drag!
Last weekend I ended up with a 4 day long migraine. Sure it was from getting overheated. But nothing worked to take it away. I have a prescription for Sumatriptan and use Excedrin Migraine also. days 3 and 4 were the worst. Went to the neuro dr on the 5th day and he gave me a shot of Toradol and a shot of a steroid, then put me on Prednisone taper pack. The toradol worked great. Didn't have a headache for 5 days, then woke up with one again on the 6th day. I get the Botox injections, but… read more
