Hey, they are called occipital nerve blocks-and they do help temporarily (about a week) if they hit the nerve right. Otherwise you’ll get very little relief and you may get a rebound headache. I used them all summer long when my migraines were at their worst. Good luck. 👍🏽 hope it helps

I've been getting cervical epidurals regularly since last year. I haven't noticed any improvement in my migraines, but my neck feels better. However, it's not helped with the inability to move my neck properly. I'll pray it works for you. The thing about any shots is they only work for a time, then it wears off. That's life.

I did have these injections several years ago and they worked at first but finally they were not helping , so stopped getting them.

I’m not sure only thing I remember reading it was like a nerve block or something along those lines I had 3 injections in the right side of my neck! Kinda feeling like today after I had them my face feels hot kinda like I am running a temp & have a hard time turning my neck to the right side have been having a since I had the injections but it isn’t hurting as bad as they normally do just in pain from the injections I guess so I’ve been resting & taking it easy.

I tried them once and found it very painful, with no success at all.
