Thanks, I knew there was something different. It is freaky to lose your sight during these episodes. Sort of a “geez, what’s next??”.
I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. Indeed. The migraine is bad enuf but the post migraine fatigue can last days for me. Drag!
When I get a migraine my neck hurts really bad. I have found a neck brace really helps with the pain. Does any one else have this problem? Has any one else used a neck brace for this too? What else has any one tried that works?

I was diagnosed with chronic migraines about 2 and a half months ago. I have tried 4 different preventives and 4 different onsets. Nothing is working for me. I might have to quit my job soon as all I can do most days is lay in bed. I finally saw a neurologist and am now on trazadone which is supposed to help with the depression/sleep and also work as a preventative. And he gave me ubrevely for an onset. I ask because I know some doctors and insurance companies put a limit on the number so that daily use is not possible although it would benefit for many with daily migraine.

Well, obviously the migraines...but how will it help?
