Make sure you are under the care of a Neurologist who specializes in Migraines. It might take some time to find the right treatment, then again it might not. There are a plethera of new treatments & therapies now available to migraine sufferers. No one needs to suffer like back in the day.

I'm lucky to have a flexible and understanding work environment. I find that if I feel a migraine coming on, it's best to ignore the temptation to power through it and take 15 minutes to lie down and mentally recharge if possible. Neck and shoulder stretches sometimes help as well to at least keep the worst of it at bay until work is over.
