Thanks Tammy. Helps to hear others comment on what we get. No fun and hope it doesn’t happen again.

Hi, former massage therapist here. I get neck pain and migraine after every botox treatment. With botox treatment, they are injecting trigger points in your muscles. Trigger points are known areas that are contributory factors to migraines. Therefore, if any part of your migraines are triggered by musculoskeletal issues, getting neck pain and/or migraines after botox is very common. Whenever I get my treatment, I have them first give me Toradol and Phenergan to relieve the migraine that I know is going to result from the Botox treatment. (Well, I used to. I can't get Toradol anymore. But that's another conversation.) Is recommend asking for the Toradol for the pain and Phenergan if you get nausea. Just be prepared to have someone drive you home as the Phenergan is one of those meds that the Dr won't let you drive after administration...depending on the Dr.
