I have had migraines for 10 years. Getting worse 15-20 a month. I have tried Botox, Aimovig, emgality, imitrex, topomax, naratriptan, depeco. Nothing works more than a month. I have been hospitalized several xs because cocktail they give at ER does not work. They gave me DHE infusions thru a central line. One every 8 hours for 4 days. It’s a very strong drug w a lot of side effects. The infusions they are talking about are once every 3 months thru IV. Has anyone tried them?

I ask because I know some doctors and insurance companies put a limit on the number so that daily use is not possible although it would benefit for many with daily migraine.

I was diagnosed with chronic migraines about 2 and a half months ago. I have tried 4 different preventives and 4 different onsets. Nothing is working for me. I might have to quit my job soon as all I can do most days is lay in bed. I finally saw a neurologist and am now on trazadone which is supposed to help with the depression/sleep and also work as a preventative. And he gave me ubrevely for an onset. My neurologist suggested massage, chiropractor and PT on my neck and shoulders for a daily persistent headache suggesting cervicogenic/tension headache/muscular skeletal also.

I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. When I get a migraine my neck hurts really bad. I have found a neck brace really helps with the pain. Does any one else have this problem? Has any one else used a neck brace for this too? What else has any one tried that works?

Has anyone tried the green color therapy glasses or the rose tinted color for migraines? Which color do you think is better for migraines? A neurologist online recommended the green color therapy glasses for migraines.
I'm looking for something least expensive that works.

If I over work neck/shoulder muscles I'm in for a bad migraine. I need to build strength in my shoulders but how can I when it brings on a migraine?
