Hi everyone! I have been dealing with Chronic migraines sine my 20's. The Neurologist has me on Zonisamide and increased the dosage but it is not working. I have migraines pret thg much every day and miss work also i am on FMLA at work. I was thinking about trying Aimovig. Has anyone tried this and what experience did you have. Also what about Botox? I am scared to try it.

Every month when I take my Aimovig inj for the first week it seems that I have terrible migraines and then I'm better. Anyone else!? And yes... barometric/environmental systems reek havoc on my headaches also. When
weather is nice, not too hot, not too humid, just right I feel pretty good. But I also can tell way beforehand when rain is coming, or heat w/humidity,etc. too cold 🥶❄️, etc. I have Fibromyalgia too. The two seem to go hand in hand unfortunately!

When will this be available for people in the UK it's not fair I Get migraines every day 😢

I was diagnosed with chronic migraines about 2 and a half months ago. I have tried 4 different preventives and 4 different onsets. Nothing is working for me. I might have to quit my job soon as all I can do most days is lay in bed. I finally saw a neurologist and am now on trazadone which is supposed to help with the depression/sleep and also work as a preventative. And he gave me ubrevely for an onset. Does aimovig help vestibular migraine without pain

I’m having trouble getting my insurance to cover Emgality and my neuro says that Aimovig might be easier to get through for some reason. However, I’m rather concerned about the severe constipation side effect that has caused some patients to need surgery as that has been an issue I’ve had my whole life. How have you guys combatted that side effect? Any info you think would be useful would be much appreciated! TIA! 😊

My New Neurologist is having me do 3 rounds DHE infusion, tilt table therapy, and then the Aimovig shot. I have read some pretty bad reviews and scared to take it. Anyone have any advice or thoughts about Aimovig?

I'm currently on Aimovig as a preventative and rizatriptan as an abortive medication. Aimovig has had limited success for me.
