I am to the point that I am having to take Imetrex daily just to function. I have tried to go without it but the most I can go is three days before I have to finally give in and take it. I am concerned as to what it may be doing to my heart. I take the "Reddy" brand through CVS which does not seem to work as well as the name brand. Also, each time I take an Imetrex I have to chase it with two Tylenol or Advil.

Imitrex works if I take it soon enough. The last 2 times I had a migraine it didn’t work. I threw up took a second imitrex but it didn’t work.
Would the imitrex spray work better? In case I throw up aftet taking an imitrex pill.

Severe vertigo last 2-3 days. Have had migrain s with aura and pain for 45 years. Take imitrex

What are some of the more stronger medicine a doctor can give you. I'm allergic to imatrex. But there gotta be something strong to get rid of these horrible things. Do what are some of the medicine you have tried and was successful with? Thank you. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

I have read comments about migraine scales being different for everyone. I agree with that. Which left me wondering, with 1 being the lowest and 10 the highest, pain level and incapacitation. What do you consider a “average” or tolerable number on the scale?
