Some people have luck with gabapentin; personally, I hate the way it makes me feel. I have had some success with Botox, CGRPs (e.g. Emgality), and with a Cefaly, which is a neuro-stimulator, and THC… read more

For the last 10 years I have been taking magnesium and b-complex combination. I only take Tylenol as it is the softest on my stomach. I do a combination of Botox and Ajovy at this time.

Medications
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Please please let me know some names of medications that you have had some success with. I have tried a couple with not much success. I have found that botox works but I am unable to have health benefits at this time. When I did have benefits it was covered and life was not as painful 😓.

Does Anyone Have To Take Imetrex On A Daily Basis?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I am to the point that I am having to take Imetrex daily just to function. I have tried to go without it but the most I can go is three days before I have to finally give in and take it. I am concerned as to what it may be doing to my heart. I take the "Reddy" brand through CVS which does not seem to work as well as the name brand. Also, each time I take an Imetrex I have to chase it with two Tylenol or Advil.

Nobody wants to have a painful headache all day every day. I have found that I can reliably reduce the pain significantly by taking 2-200 mg Ibuprofen at 4:00 am and 2 high potency… read more
