I was on it for a while, but it wasn't that effective for me. I weaned off it a couple of years ago. No strange side effects.
@A MyMigraineTeam Member, you might be thinking of propophol, which is an anesthetic used before or during surgery. This is propranolol, which is a beta blocker used to treat high blood pressure, angina, prevent heart attack, and to reduce the frequency and severity of migraines.
I would think that it's too potent of a drug for anyone to chance messing with! But I guess that's up to the Doctor

I was on propranolol for several years and didn't note any strangeness-unless I forgot to take it. Then my head felt a little odd and my vision got blurry.
