I've never heard of using steroids or nerve blocks to treat migraines. That's very interesting, but a shame they didn't work for you. I will, research them. Oh my that is rediculous but I wish we could have that rule in the US so I could by sly like you! Don't feel bad, I would be doing the same. I get 8 pills a month. Right! U have to take two a day so that leaves u with only 4 migraines a month!! I have friends here who get their prescriptions from their dr and then mail it to Canada or go down to Mexico. You then get the months supply that the dr requests The insurance companies need to reevaluate.
Sumatran didn't work for me. Neither had Eletriptan or anynof the other 2 triptans I've taken. Consultant just given me a script for rizatriptan and Topiramate but haven't started yet. I've also tried every drug they've brought out throughout the last 25 years. Nothing worked and I've no known triggers so it's very hard x
