Nerve Decompression Surgery
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Hey everyone I was wondering if anyone has had the nerve decompression surgery done. If so with who, how did it help/ or not, and how was the recovery. Any info on the surgery would be most helpful. Thank you!!!

I have not. But my mother had cranial decompression surgery after many years of Trigeminal Neuralgia pain. It was a total success. It is my understanding that migraine sufferers have a higher risk of developing Trigeminal Neuralgia. Although my mother did not experience migraines. Those came from my dad's side of the family.
