You can definitely get edibles, oils and pills with no THC in them. THC is the chemical component that gives the "high", but also makes those sensitive to it paranoid or feel out of control. Any decent shop that sells in a legal state can give you great guidance and answer any questions you may have. I tend to stick with zero %THC because I am looking for pain relief, but I do buy a vape pen with very low THC/high CBD blend for the evenings before bed. Great relaxer, and keeps the prodrome/aura/nausea away overnight. Only in Colorado, though, sadly. At home it's back to chemicals.

@A MyMigraineTeam Member, I am the same as you on this. I am not at all experienced or aware of the various strains and thier effects. I have been told by someone close to me, who has Crohn's, colitis and migraines, that there are strains that are help (and are preferable to them, over prescription medications). They had no migraine last while visiting Colorado. I also like to know I am in control of myself and have expressed fear of it effecting my mind and causing paranoid anxiety. But apparently there are strains for pain that do not do that. After days of migraine, I admit to finally taking a chance on a 'vape hit' from a person I trust, and was amazed how quickly the migraine and nausea was relieved. Without the high or overactive mind and paranoia I recall, from my few attempts as a young person. Being illegal here, as well as the uncertainty of what effects you how, keeps me from it. ๐ŸŒผ

I go on "cannabis vacations" to Colorado once a year. I not only have intractable migraines, I also suffer from issues with a bad spine. I've had to have my L-3 to S-1 fused before I lost my ability to walk. Anyway, I can definitely answer YES!! It helps my pain in my spine, and definitely either lowers my sensitivity to migraine triggers, or just deletes them. During the week and a half to two weeks I am there, I might have one minor migraine it's never full blown. I never have the awful aura, nausea, the drilling pain isn't as intense, and I have no postdrome downtime. It's also wonderful to not have to rely on my blasted opiod pain pills and muscle relaxers. I'm careful about the blends I buy, get as little to no THC count as possible since I am not looking for the high, I am looking for relief.

Then I cry as I leave Colorado, knowing for myself at least I don't have to take all the poisons shoved across the pharmacy counter, except I live in a state where a bunch of backwards looking idiots think a medicinal plant is "the devil's weed" and won't ever legalize it.

I started on CBD capsules one week ago. There is no THC in this product, and good reviews from friends. We will see and I will let you know in 30 days. So far, so good.
