I've researched & found that triptains can make heart arrhythmias worse and lead to major problems including death. Has anyone's doctor told them anything like that? If so, what do you take as an abortive instead?
They used to cause my already low and constantly fluctuating blood pressure to go way too low. Fast forward 20 years after I had ablasion for a rare arryhthmia that caused the scary low BP and super high HR with palpitations, I can take them. They still lower my BP, but not dangerously. They actually help sometimes, but do make me feel really weak and extremely sleepy - more sleepy than any other med I've ever taken.
I can't take them because of hemiplegic migraine. I take a beta blocker but nothing stops them daily
I canβt take Triptains due to having had a stroke in my left eye when I was in my 40βs.
