Does anyone take medical marijuana in the UK and if so how?I’ve wanted to try it for ages for my Chronic Migraines but I don’t know where to get it from or what to get etc.Preferably pill form as I have a young daughter to look after so I can’t be getting high haha
I haven't used the medical type but I have used the recreational form and I do find it generally offers some relief and often when painkillers, anti emetics and sumatriptan haven't helped. I try to limit the amount so I don't get high but do get the benefits although by the time I take it I'm barely functioning anyway (I don't have children to look after). I have just heard Holland and Barrett have started selling cannabis oil which will reporting offer pain relief without the risk of getting high (and is legal to buy) so I'm going to try that.
Yes Holland and Barrett sell it as do many other health food and supplement companies. There are different strengths so you would need to find out about what sort of strength you would need. Good luck and do let us know how you get on.
I use CBD oil and it gives me relief when nothing else does!
I get help from CBD the extract from marijuana that doesn’t get u high but for night time I get it with a low dose of the THC. Use that one a night as it helps me sleep. Doesn’t completely take it away, but I get such bad neck/nerve pain that worstens the migraines, it helps. I take pain killers cause mine are so bad but trying to not use any at all. Says also used to get off the pain killers with less withdrawal. California legal. My son is researching which ones work the best. Do know it does help, I’m out, but u have to figure out right does for you.
It does not help me it actually makes mine worse.
