Cream of Tarter (spice isle) put a pinch under your tongue and hold for a minute before drinking water. As get in a hot bath with ice packs on your head & forehead at the same time. Right after you do the cream of tarter.

My Dr. told me that Advil can cause rebound migraines, so I try to limit how often I use it. Something that is helpful for me, is to take 400mg of magnesium, 500mg of tylenol and 50mg of benedryl together. This remedy was suggested as something to use at home by an ER dr. I also have been taking Migralief for 3 months now and I think I might see a bit of improvement from it. It was suggested to me from the PA who administers my Botox. Hope you feel better.

Imitrex works best for me. One at the start of a migraine, if it's still there after 2 hours, which it usually isn't, then you are allowed to take the 2nd. You are only allowed to take 2 in 24 hour period. They can be expensive if you don't have coverage but it works. Its worth it to ask your GP about it. The generic version doesn't work as well for me. My doctor filed out a special request form and usually I pay $15 for 12 pills but it went up to $22 for 30 days. Worth it!
