When you have been on a med to long it will begin to work for a shorter amount of time. It will bring a migraine on as it works its way out of your system. It would be time to find a different treatment. I got the daith piercing 3 years ago and haven't had a migraine since then. It has also helped me with my fybromyagia.

Medications cause rebound headaches that are normally worse then the one you had in the 1st place.

You tend to get more headaches if you've been taking the same medication for a while.

It's kinda like ur bodys way of craving the medicine when the dosage isn't high enough. Like when u take ibuprofen, then within 4 hours it starts to wear off.....ur body starts having a migraine to tell u it wants more ibuprofen.

I used to get them when I took too much ibuprofen.
