I am currently listening to the Migraine World Summit and yesterday Dr. Eric Baron, DO: Neurologist, Cleveland Clinic discussed research on cannibis and CBD oil on migraine. Research has found that cannibis and CBD oil have higher antiflamatory properties than any NSAIDS out there with none of the side effects. I wish I could remember the percentages because it was vastly higher. Very interesting interviews every day. I have learned a lot.

I have used CBD oil with out THC and found it not to be helpful. I used a product called BREES when were were in CA. It is a liquid mint spray that you place under your tongue. It worked wonders for me.

I had tried CBD it did nothing, there are many options and what ever work is what works, you will never get rid of a migraines you learn to co-exist, The thing that you need to watch out for is rebound headaches, that is a real tuff issue to figure out is it a migraine or a rebound, Piercing I don't have any experience with so I don't understand how it works, The newest meds as of recent and have looked into is the CGRP Aimovig, there are 4 preventive brands that are CGRP and I have gone from 12-15 a month to 1.5 a month after 30 years of migraines I have done every med know to mankind. So google CGRP there is a bunch of info on YouTube. There are prerequisites before Neurologist go to CGRP and your Health insurance will want "trials" before going CGRP cause its $$$. and they won't allow Botox and CGRP. I have nothing but positive results with Aimovig (CGRP) I keep saying CGRP cause is you have a reaction with Aimovig there are 3 other brands that are similar. "Imitrex" pill or injection pills are slow to respond and react, Injections are the fast, hard hitting, most effective, yes they sting but 5 seconds. which is worse? Relpax pills I have had good luck with. Also a good Dr. can be a game changer like I said 30 years of neurologist when I comes to migraines there are good ones and not so good, When you find the one you'll know it,

I have tried the oil and it didn't seem to help. I have had severe migraines in the past 4 days. Missed work Thursday and Friday because I could barely see. Today I woke up with a horrible migraine took my migraine meds slept for a couple hours and it's not so bad. Still a dull headache so I took an imitrex to see if it would help eliminate it. I go back to my Dr next month to see if I can get other meds or what she recommends. I dont know how to eliminate these migraines it's really crippling. I have fmla to cover me at work but I only get so many sick and vacation hours. I have thought about the daith piercing but im a little skeptical. I read one side hurts worse than the other which side would that be?

You are right, Stagebabe04, all my words didn't make it into my response. The strength is 1000mg, I take two dropperfuls a day, which is 2ml (33mg of cbd per ml at this strength). While it has not helped with my migraines, it has helped with my allergies... which is odd, and anxiety like I said. :-)
