Daith Piercing
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

This seems to be the only option left. I have Chronic Migraines that are very debilitating. Lasting for days, with Auras, Nausea, Light sensitivity. I have to survive in a blackout room. Missing my life terribly.
How did you all find a Reputable place for your Daith Piercing(s)?
Thanks in advance for any and all responses. Hope you all have a pain-free day!

I got mine done 3 yrs ago and I didn't think it hurt. I had a migraine for 4 days, missed work, and my best friend had to take me and after piercing my migraine was gone in about 20min. I now only have about 1 or 2 a month verse 6 to 7 a month.

I got mine done a year ago and have not had one debilitating migraine since! My headaches come and are completely treatable with aspirin. I think it's one of the best decisions I have ever made.

I was recommended to the place i went. i also researched him and found he also had some medical training. In addition i talked with him about his history with this particular piercing and asked about his success rates, the procedure etc.

I got my piercing done about 2 months ago and had it done at a tattoo parlor by a guy that had done a lot. I went from a minimum of 2 migraines per week to maybe 1per week and they haven’t lasted as long and most haven’t been as severe. I also want to say I didn’t go into it having any faith in it.

I got mine done about 3 or 4 weeks ago and I have only had 2 migraines since. The difference now is I can take a naproxen and they go away fairly quick. I'm not laying in the dark for hours waiting for them to go away anymore. I went to a tattoo/piercing shop to get mine done.
