Hi wondering if anyone has tried CBD oil for their migraines if so how much do you take and how often ? It is preventive or just when the migraine hits ?
Did not work for me.

Is there any research out there being done on using CBD/THC for migraine/headaches relief/prevention? Has anyone tried CBD/THC for headaches? What was your experience?
My migraine doc in California told me there's a lot of research supporting medical mj as effective for headache and migraine.
I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. Indeed. The migraine is bad enuf but the post migraine fatigue can last days for me. Drag!
What do you guys know about triptan overuse headaches?
I just learned of them from a nurse at my neurologist’s office. This had never been mentioned before by my neurologist and he prescribes me 30 rizatriptans per month and 7 frovatriptans per month, which covers my 20 migraines (if they decide to work). Glad to hear that worked for you. Valproic acid has many possible severe side effects including affecting liver causing death and pancreatitis. Each person has to weight the benefits vs the risks… read more
I ask because I know some doctors and insurance companies put a limit on the number so that daily use is not possible although it would benefit for many with daily migraine.

I'd like to try some natural remedies to help with migraine? I am not allowed to take tylenol anymore due to liver damage. What do you find helpful?

I have tried EVERYTHING to get rid of my migraines but NOTHING has worked and we are retrying previous treatments again only because something HAS to work. Medical marijuana is the ONE thing I haven't tried and I can't even get it.
