What is the average length of a migraine for you guys with or without medication? One hour or several days?

Angela I am on 14 years and a couple months. They say my migraine is intractable but my neurologist wants me to have lower pain and even a day or two a week without pain.

My average migraine length was 18 years and not sure how many months. I just started this new medication and I get two days with no migraines a week.

Sounds like me in 2008. I got 2-3 a month for a few years then 4-5 a month for a couple of years then in 2008 I got one and still have it.
I did Botox for a couple of years a few years back but it never worked for me, although I am glad that others get help from it, and my doctor stopped after 2 years because he said if I still wasn't getting relief from it then I wouldn't.
If you now have constant, maybe talk to your doctor about something else.
I take meds daily just to keep me sane, and sometimes even then my migraine goes nuclear, and then I have several other things that I can take weekly. And then now I am on an IV treatment Vyplexy every 3 months and it has gotten me able to read and be a part of an online support group for the first time since 2011.
But my neurologist and several specialized hospital and neurologists have come to the conclusion that unfortunately I will always have some amount of pain, we work on getting it to where I can have some semblance of a life and lower.
