Ice hats, I always keep one in the freezer, super cool house, usually around 66 degrees and a very dark room. I am trying medical marijuana now and have found a few strains that ease the pain.

Hi im new also, I was diagnosed with migraine and tension headaches in 1985 I was pregnant at the time of first migraine and tension headache always both at same time. Dark, quiet room, hot towels on my neck and head. Specialist told me years ago its like taking blood from 2 arteries in 2 places at the same time and I will have them for rest of my life but lots of meds we can try. Not alot of success with meds, chiropractor and even tried tanning bed no relief. Today I'm ok no pain today so a good day. Glad to meet everyone, sorry for length of post but glad to be here.

Sorry I was rushing when it's really bad, I have to just lay down and rest, with ice pack because I suffer days at a time. Ice pack on my neck in the dark, take an aspirin, drink a half of diet coke, turn the air up.
