I Have Migraines Almost Daily - Cluster, Ocular & Basic Migraine. Doctor Thinks It Is Rebound Headaches. How Do I Know The Difference?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had migraines since I was 5 years old. My Mom always thought they were sinus headaches. They are mostly on the right side. If I get one on the left, it will last a few days, then move to the right. We moved and current doctor just does not get it.

My migraines change from the left side to the right side. They migrate. And there is no rhyme or reason for it. At none that I've figured out.

Triptan Overuse Rebound Headaches
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

What do you guys know about triptan overuse headaches?

However, I had no idea that by taking the prescribed medication as directed, I could actually be causing more migraines. But if I don’t take them, I’m in excruciating pain and am… read more

Is This A Cluster Migraine
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have just experienced what I think is a cluster migraine. It started a week ago like any other migraine and after a couple of days the symptoms were reducing only to return twice with slight gaps in between and lasting a week to date. My line manager at work is sceptical that a migraine can last this long and so I’ve just been looking it up and this seems to be what is referred to as a cluster migraine. The pain is centered around my left eye only and I have experienced profound nausea and… read more
