Any medicine that helps is ok to take in my experience. If it’s addictive then so be it. You should never abuse it and things will be fine. I’ve was taking an opiate for 27 years until they started having manufacturing issue during Covid. I was unable to get that medicine from October through May. I never abused it and my withdrawals were minimal. The biggest issue is my pain came back to an unbearable level without my medicine. I’ve since been able to go back to it and my quality of life has returned. Opiates are and should be made accessible to those who need it. The media and congress have demonized them because morons chose to abuse.
