A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Constant headaches migraines, mostly vestibular, off steady walking, just got medicare. My nero and regular Dr suggest specialist. I've been on wait list, going near Milwaukee Oct 18. almost 1 hour away. LMK any help or suggestions. Don't want sympathy, glad to be alive, that i know. But i can't find anyone that had anything like this, not typical left or right stroke.
Thanks

You’re on a waitlist for what specialist , a neurosurgeon ?
Does your state have a university system of medical centers? You do, and here it is. You have UW Health University Hospital in Madison at (Phone number can only be seen by the question and answer creators)…it’s a Level 1 Trauma center, so it’s both a teaching and research hospital. Likely your best option is to see if you can get on their patient list. Actually, your primary doctor can refer you to them, and your insurance should approve it as a service beyond that which your local doctors can provide. That hospital is the best hospital in your state . I wish you the best. It must be unbelievably frustrating to feel these things and not be able to get care for it , Denese
