I take HRT and have before all this migraine business got super intense a few years ago. My gyn told me that I should the Progesterone every day instead of 12 days as it might actually help the migraine situation. I haven't done it because I am concerned the Progesterone is what is causing my esophagus muscles or the LES the lower esophageal sphincter) to be not as tight and is causing GERD. I have an appt. with her to ask about all this.

I tried taking progesterone but was unable to adjust to a normal level so I had to discontinue. I did not see any effect on my chronic migraine while I was on progesterone.
