I'm of Sicilian decent, so I have darker skin normally. And of course, used to love the sun. However, this quickness of birthmark growth is truly insane. And trust me..I have to exam my self for everything constantly with all of my diagnoses. They just popped up like mushrooms...my stomach,my neck,my legs..spots that never see the sun. And a couple of the larger ones I was born with have even increased in size, shape, color. My insane rheumatologist thinks i5s nothing. I'm thinking a referral to a dermatologist is due. I'm sure they'll have a field day on me. But then again, I've been poked, prodded and cut open..sorry..souch in the last 3 years, I might as well get the lecture now. I haven't been in the sun since my SLE dx, so that's why I'm even more concerned. 6hat was 2021.

What things or treatments are you undergoing right now that encourages melanin creation? Only hint I can think of. You know your treatments and history best?
