- Pain, soreness, swelling, or bruising at injection sites
- Drooping eyelids or sagging on one side of the face
- Uneven smile or asymmetrical facial features
- Flu-like symptoms
- Dry eyes or watery eyes
- Headache after injections
With aging skin, drooping and sagging effects may be more pronounced since skin has less elasticity to "bounce back." Some MyMigraineTeam members have shared experiences with facial changes, like uneven eyebrows or droopy eyelids. The good news is that these effects are usually temporary, and adjusting injection sites with your neurologist can sometimes help reduce them.
In rare cases, more serious side effects can occur, such as vision changes, difficulty speaking or swallowing, shortness of breath, or muscle weakness. Always let your healthcare provider know right away if any of these happen.

I wish drs were consistent with where the botox injections went for migraines. I seen a dr for awhile but he left practice and new dr is not doing shots in same places. Not getting same results isnt there a protocol of where they go
