How Much Does The Weather Play A Role With Your Migraine

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Pickering, ON

Weather migraines are really bad, anybody else have them? In sure lots of us do. Anyone know how to avoid or cope… read more

Barometric Pressure....how Does It Affect You And Is There Anything You Can Do To Avoid Them?

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
Calgary, AB

My migraines are definitely triggered by the barometric pressure going down. It doesn't seem to bother me when it rises. I live in the Calgary, Alberta, Canada region and we have the worst BP changes in the country. Used to love the Chinooks over the mountains as it brings warmer weather but now that I have migraines, I dread them.

A MyMigraineTeam Member

Have always had an issue with barometric pressure since the migraines began after brain surgery. Only way I have been able to win is staying in a dark or semi-dark room until things calm down. Ubrelvyread more

Anyone have any info on a Daith piercing? I am considering it, but need more information.

Daith Piercing

A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭
San Diego, CA

I got the @piercing in my right ear about 4-5 years ago now. I had been having extreme migraines since middle school. Full blown light and sound sensitivity, dizziness when standing, severe pain behind my eyes radiating through my entire head , even down my neck. I would have to be taken to the hospital and given morphine shots to settle my head because 800 mg @ibuprofen , @advil, alive, even excedrin migraine and extra strength wouldn't cure it. In the 4-5 years I maybe have had 3- 4 bad… read more
