I got the @piercing in my right ear about 4-5 years ago now. I had been having extreme migraines since middle school. Full blown light and sound sensitivity, dizziness when standing, severe pain behind my eyes radiating through my entire head , even down my neck. I would have to be taken to the hospital and given morphine shots to settle my head because 800 mg @ibuprofen , @advil, alive, even excedrin migraine and extra strength wouldn't cure it. In the 4-5 years I maybe have had 3- 4 bad… read more
I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. I have an AMAZING solution for migraine headaches. Diath piercings. It is suggested that you have the side that you get your migraine on pierced, but since my headaches tend to switch sides, I had both sides done. I've had my right Daith pierced from the summer 2017 if worked. Now I've severe pain in the frontal part of my head or behind my left eye and at first there was less migraines but higher intensity and pain and now it's weekly (last 4 weeks) lasting 2-4 days and the pain is almost unbearable!

So my friend convinced me to try the piercing within 15 minutes of the piercing being done my headache was gone and I have not had one since. I have had some pressure in my sinus and aches in my neck upwards toward my head but they haven't become a migraine so to say. The daith piercing has… read more
Could it be cathartic to write a letter to your friends and family, expressing your feelings about life with migraines? Even if they never read it? This was mine:
"A letter to my Family and friends" On this day, I walked out side into the morning sunshine. In this moment of this day, I feel joy. I am optimistically cautious as I emerge into the warmth of the light, away from where the curtains remain drawn. As I write this to you, I feel a smile on my face… read more
