I have one! It works, to a point. For me anyway. It has reduced my anxiety levels quite a bit and has helped control some of my triggers.

How much does the weather play a role with your migraine

I can't believe how much better I feel now that the temperature has dropped. There also does not seem to be the big fluctuations in the temperature, humidity and barometric pressure. The thing that is still messing with my head is precipitation. I know the day before it's going to rain, then it rains and then it takes a day to feel better. That's three days out of my life. Weather migraines are really bad, anybody else have them? In sure lots of us do.… read more

Just a little funny question.

Idk if many of you have seen the Friday the 13Th movies. If you have you know the song that the kids in one of them sing. "1-2 Freddy's comming for you. 3-4 better lock the door. " and so on. Well I was also thinking about the docs pain level chart 1=-10=. Well I came up with a mix you may find funny. When some one asks here you go.

1-2 I am ok how are you?
3-4 I don't want to be here no more.
5-6 I am out of this.
7-8 I vomited all I ate.
9-10 Better haul me in.

Well I hope I made… read more

Are there specific scents that upon first wiff will send you into a migraine spiral?

Mine are weed killers and fertilizers, Fabreeze anything, petroleum hot tar, cologne and even deodorant (especially strong scented men's deo., cigar cigarette smoke, mowing of lawns. Scented candles and room deodorizers.i find I am becoming more sensitive as I get older . Mold, bonfires, fireplaces, cleaning supplies, even dust. Anyone relate?

I use essential oils sparingly and I know my tolerance varies so I add one or two drops to a bath tub full of water.... none of this 10-20 drop stuff

What letter would you write to your family and friends?

Could it be cathartic to write a letter to your friends and family, expressing your feelings about life with migraines? Even if they never read it? This was mine:
"A letter to my Family and friends" On this day, I walked out side into the morning sunshine. In this moment of this day, I feel joy. I am optimistically cautious as I emerge into the warmth of the light, away from where the curtains remain drawn. As I write this to you, I feel a smile on my face… read more

Migraine solution

I have an AMAZING solution for migraine headaches. Diath piercings. It is suggested that you have the side that you get your migraine on pierced, but since my headaches tend to switch sides, I had both sides done. It's been more than a year, and I have only had one migraine, and that was my fault due to not eating anything. As soon as I put some protein in my body, the headache went away.
