Can People Share Their Experiences Of Taking Aimovig?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I’m having trouble getting my insurance to cover Emgality and my neuro says that Aimovig might be easier to get through for some reason. However, I’m rather concerned about the severe constipation side effect that has caused some patients to need surgery as that has been an issue I’ve had my whole life. How have you guys combatted that side effect? Any info you think would be useful would be much appreciated! TIA! 😊

I need help to deal with my condition.I don't mean with medicines,I mean how to deal with it emotionally and how to cope with it everyday.Do you see therapists, councillors, have treatments,go to group meetings?I need to find a way of managing my feelings of anger, depression, loneliness etc in a healthy way.I can't go on like this where I'll end up bringing everyone down with me.

Does Anyone Have Migraine With New Daily Persistent Headache?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I have had a headache for 3 years/3 months every day, all day. Sometimes I have an aura, but it is not a classic migraine...no problems with light or loud noise, no vomiting. It is debilitating and doctors cannot figure it out.

Good luck!

Anyone Else Get Deja Vu?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I know it's common for people with epilepsy, but they've ruled out epilepsy and told me it's just a migraine aura. Does anyone else experience this? What usually happens is I get the deja vu in my sleep, wake up with the deja vu (it's really intense) often I have excess saliva or I have nausea and vomiting. Soon after the deja vu I experience severe headache (migraine).

I started taking Exindrine and they would either go away or be reduced enough for me to function. I know there are… read more

Just A Little Funny Question.
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Idk if many of you have seen the Friday the 13Th movies. If you have you know the song that the kids in one of them sing. "1-2 Freddy's comming for you. 3-4 better lock the door. " and so on. Well I was also thinking about the docs pain level chart 1=😀-10=😵🤤. Well I came up with a mix you may find funny. When some one asks here you go.

1-2 I am ok how are you?
3-4 I don't want to be here no more.
5-6 I am out of this.
7-8 I vomited all I ate.
9-10 Better haul me in.

Well I hope I made at… read more
