A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

My husband booked for us to see a rock band awhile ago for this Saturday and I really wanna go but as anyone with migraines will know-a place with ridiculously loud noises, flashing lights and lots of people is something you don't wanna face. So I just wondered if anyone has any tips to help me get through it? Im planning on wearing my sunglasses but I know everyone will look at me funny >.<

I just saw the best thing on Shark Tank. It's called Vibes Earbuds. They reduce sound by 23 decimals but you still here the music clearly. This would be great for all of us at concerts or really anytime sound is making your head worse. I just bought a pair. Sorry you had to miss the concert. I've cancelled so many events. It stinks.

I go to shows all the time. The loud noise doesn't usually get me but the lights do. I've only missed 1 show due to a migraine. Sunglasses and bring your meds. Music is thought as medicine for the soul so it may help you more than hurt you. I've had great luck w/ cannabis as long as I keep it medicinal and not recreational. I always make sure I have my meds on hand though. Good luck and definitely wear the sunglasses. You'll be surprised how many people actually wear theirs during the shows.

I go to the movies with my brother a lot and he likes to see IMAX movies and those especially in 3D. I found wearing ear plugs really helps. This is the only way I could enjoy the movie.
