There is something called a headache concoction, meds see to vary, but Benadryl is always in the mix. They have done to me in the hosptaial when admitted, as well as in the ER.

One person asked why they give a person with a migraine Benadryl. They do it because it helps the other drugs work better. They all work together to help the body relax and by doing this hopefully the headache will go away!

@A MyMigraineTeam Member, they usually give me an I.V drip because I am dehydrated, something for nausea, pain and benadryl. I don't know why they give me benadryl but they always do.
