Has anyone tried this and what did you experience and did it help I am so afraid of all the meds and side effects I am not even 100% of the type of headaches I get. Neither it's the Neuro I saw. They last for around a week and get worse as the day goes on hurt in my neck can hurt around eyes and even around my nose sometimes my ears will hurt and mostly by my temples any advise would be awesome

It sounds like a migraine and what has worked for myself was just getting enough rest and staying in the dark and drinking enough water and being as quiet as possible. I hope this helps and hope you feel better

I've been on amitriptyline for three and a half years. It has helped greatly. I thought I had overlapping sinus related headaches but I am reading now that there is the trigeminal nerve that runs throughout the facial areas that is related to migraines. I now believe that I have been having break-through migraines. I recently reduced my dose from 10 mg to 5 mg. I am going to ask to go back to 10 mg. The dry-mouth and constipation are pretty well managed by diet and exercise.

Been on Amitriptyline 10mg daily for 2 weeks, it has helped with my vertigo and improved my balance. It does give me dry mouth and a headache, sometimes my migraine with auras break through it which is no fun. The only other disadvantage is it has made my double vision and it has made my floaters worse. I am going to continue taking it and hope these are just side effects and they will improve since I am new to this. I am also on Zonisamide 200mg daily.
