Do you often or occasionally wake in pain ? I do often. But does anyone have migraines in their sleep, that become incorporated into and a part of your dreams/nightmares?

Members opened up about the deeply challenging experience of waking with migraines, with many sharing that they wake in pain most days of the week or even every single day, often with full-blown attacks that leave no opportunity for early preventive medication. Several members described the unsettling phenomenon of migraines becoming part of their dreams or nightmares, experiencing pain in their sleep that continues when they wake, with some reporting they dream of colors, head trauma, or frantically searching for something before waking to realize the migraine is real and already established. A recurring theme was the exhausting ritual of stumbling through pain and disorientation to gather medications, ice packs, and heat therapy while others shared practical strategies like keeping meds at the bedside, elevating the head of the mattress, and trying remedies such as cayenne capsules or the ketogenic diet.

Yes, I wake up with a migraine. I have an horrific dream, then I feel the pain. I have been able to go back to sleep by telling myself it is only a migraine. But recently the dreams are not horrific and I can't get back to sleep.
