What Are Some Of The Stronger Migraine Medicine Out There. I Can't Take Imitrex.
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

What are some of the more stronger medicine a doctor can give you. I'm allergic to imatrex. But there gotta be something strong to get rid of these horrible things. Do what are some of the medicine you have tried and was successful with? Thank you. Any and all advice is greatly appreciated.

I have severe chronic basilar artery migraines. I see both a neurologist and a pain management specialist. Since few if any doctors are willing to prescribe opioid medications any more, you have to see a pain management specialist. Thses are doctors who specialize in treating severe pain issues. I'd be lost without mine. There's no stigma it admitting you can't handle your pain, you're only human. So give in and feel like a person again. Hope tis helps. Good luck
