Whenever i take a migraine my hair becomes incredibly greasy. It doesnt matter if i have washed it 10 minutes earlier or if i wash it during my migraine, it just remains greasy and lank. I cant tie it back as having a hairband in hurts too much when i have a migraine. As soon as it passes my hair is back to normal once its washed. Ive searched for an explanation for this and the internet has nothing so i wondered if anyone else has this

Are you having hormonal or period migraines? What about staying in bed through the migraine? I have found that if I stay in bed for long periods of time my hair is a disaster, a combination of greasy and sweaty. I haven't heard anyone else mention this but then, no two people have the same migraine. If you have to be out and looking good, try carrying a can of dry shampoo with you. When you need to, duck into the ladies room and freshen your hair. It's better than feeling gross.

I have this problem. Not hormone related. Really greasy hair and bad migraine. Wondered if it was the shampoo!
