When Multi-day Migraines Upset Your Sleep Routine, What Do You Use To Get Back On Track?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

Right now I am on a “vampire schedule” due to daytime migraines. Can’t sleep at night.

Have you tried taking melatonin? I find 10mg enough to send me off to dreamland when I have a bad migraine. it's a natural sleep aid that doesn't make you feel horrible in the morning.

Do you sleep during the day? I find that if I go to bed with a migraine there is a very good chance that I will not sleep well, even if I don't sleep during the day. Because I am retired, I don't follow a routine like I used to, if I have a bad night I will sleep in and nap the next day. Of course, that doesn't help if you have go to work in the am or have children to care for. Been there, done that. Sleep deprivation is a terrible thing.

You're more than welcome, I get the dissolvable ones by Natrol.

No. But I think I will. Right now I’m on a more normal schedule but it could easily recur as it often does. Thanks!
