I've Had My Right Daith Pierced But Now My Migraines Have Moved. Have Yours?
A MyMigraineTeam Member asked a question 💭

I've had my right Daith pierced from the summer 2017 if worked. Now I've severe pain in the frontal part of my head or behind my left eye and at first there was less migraines but higher intensity and pain and now it's weekly (last 4 weeks) lasting 2-4 days and the pain is almost unbearable!

I had my left daith pierced about a month ago. Have not had one headache since!!! As soon as the needle went through it was like pressure was relieved from my head and no more pain. The piercing was absolutely painless and minimal soreness. Been sleeeping on the side I was pierced from day one with no issues. This piercing is a life saver.

I got my right one done first ,and it has helped a great deal , but sometimes the head just didn't feel right , not a full blown migraine , but like you could feel something was there but it didn't come to a full blown migraine , so I thought I will get the other side done and it would stop all of it . No such luck , it is still better then all the migraines I used to have , but every once a month I get a real, real bad one and when I mean bad its bad , I throw up for 3-5 hours and feel bad the whole day , so with all that is it worth it ? Well I would say yes , because before I was getting 2-3 migraines a week so 3 migraines since March 9th 2018 ,I would say that's great , but I am thinking that when I had just the right one in I wasn't throwing up like I am now , so maybe one would of done it ,not two , but that is just my account of having a Daith piercing . Best of luck to all

Yeah I started with my right ear and they sifted to my left side, so I got my right one done and it just went back to the pain I had before. Like it didn't go away it just went back to it's original spots x

Go to a tattoo/piercing shop. Way better that's kiosk, more rules to follow on sterilization.

Got my left ear done it s been 2 months now and it worked wonders. Was also told that if it's not done right it makes things worse so make sure you get a real pro
