My husband says I couldn't remember things for more than 30 seconds at a time. Yes!! It happened to me i thought i was alone with that happening, when it happened my neurologist decided to do a spinal tap, its good i got it done he realised that i have too much spinal fluid meaning too much pressure on the brain ever since i found out ive been taking water pills i still get migraines not everyday like i used to though but so far my memory has been ok maybe ask about that

I never considered if it was enhanced by my 3 spinal taps. I will discuss this new possibility with my Dr next visit! Thanks! Also if you take certain meds, notably gabapentin (neurontin) & depakote, long term will cause severe dementia-like memory loss.

Christina did you ever have a spinal tap done? My doctor couldn't figure mine out either but when i got a spinal tap he found out that I have too much spinal fluid so my migraines and memory loss is cause of too much fluid on the brain, I hope you'll have answers soon and feel better hugs
