On several of the documentaries shown in June, chronic migraine patients suffering for many years had their MRI scans presented to show an excessive number of lesions that shouldn't be there. I want to know if there's a special type of MRI scan that needs to be performed to get the proper pictures to show these lesions?

My Doc found that nerve blocks in my head helped with the migraines and then he found Spinal Stenos and did nerve blocks and nomore numb legs or lower back pain. Good Luck REE
Had MRI and MRA with contrast of brain and c-spine to rule out MS since my symptoms follow
Most of the MS symptoms also. No lesions. Therefore, no MS. Chronic dibilitating migraine with aura is continued diagnosis along with chronic pain since 2 spinal surgeries. So MRI/MRA needs to have contrast
