You can guarantee every weekend and everyday during this holiday period I have woken with a cluster headache. By tea time I have finally got rid after meds but next morning it is back again. So draining. Any ideas anyone????

“Letdown migraine” your body adjusts to cope with the stressors and when the stressors aren’t there your body comes down from dealing with them allowing the headache to set in 😔

I use Canada Dry club soda. No caffeine but it really helps. No other sodas or fizzy waters help. Just that. I have no idea what’s in it that’s not onnthe label!

caffeine withdraw migraines are horrible!!! They can have you laid up in bed. My son wanted to stop drinking soda for football season( he gets 1-3 migraines a months several more headaches) hos migraines got more frequent and more painful. Instead of feeling nauseous he was vomiting. He drank a few can sodas through out the few days and they were gone.

When i got headaches over the weekends & over the holidays i saw my doctor. She figured it out for me. At work i would drink 2 sodas definitely. But on the weekends i didn't. So i was having caffeine withdraw migraines (normal people have headaches but my body always takes headaches further into a migraine). So i adjusted & made sure i drank a lil bit of caffeine thru out the weekend just to prevent the withdraw & i was good. Idk of that's going on with u but maybe?!🤔

DaveHamilton thank you, just looked into this and certainly does seem to be the answer. Now I just have to work out how to counteract it eh, either that or just stay stressed 24/7 lol. Thank you for your help and Happy New Year
