Thank you for your reply, I'm on both now for 6wks and I've found a reduction in frequency of migraine, but when I do get one it's horrible and lasts a few days. I know what you mean about topermax I try work through that by doing word puzzles daily and keep my mind busy but I do have to keep notes of important things as I do forget things.

I was on Duloxetine for over 4 years for migraines. I can not say that they helped me at all. Topermax was the worse preventative I have ever tried. I know I lost 50 IQ points while on the med. I felt like I was a blithering idiot. I worked in a secure treatment center and they call Toprmax, Dopamax because that is a common side effect. I hope it is working for you.

Yea Ive read its used for depression which I dont have,well i attend a councillor and have come off meds for it,Hopefully I get someone else whos on it for migraine,Thanks
